2002 San Francico: Dykes On Bikes Parade

I haven't written about the annual Pink Saturday and Gay Pride Parade since 1998, even as we've enjoyed it each year.

In 1996 we marched in the Gay Pride parade just after we picked up Rose's engagement ring, in 1998 we celebrated the acquisition of our cottage in the Castro, and so on.

The annual rite of Dykes on Bikes and the Gay Pride Parade is a highlight of summer for us. This year it was a perfect San Francisco day: baking hot in the sun with the chilly fog bearing down upon us at the beginning of evening.

This is our the tale of our 2002 adventures. I hope you're as excited as we are.
