Album 1999.10.08 (d)

Before leaving the house I tried to finish up outstanding housework. We'd just cleared the bedroom floor of everything (including the crib and the activity saucer) but the two mobiles had to be hung up, instead of being hung precariously over the changing tansu. So I brought our ladder up from the basement.

Isaac immediately took to the new addition to the room. What a useful assistance for standing up! Does the fun ever end?

While in Austria Uhr-Oma (great-grandmother) Marga gave Isaac a pair of Oilily shorts, the only kind Isaac's three-year-old second cousin will wear. She also presented him with a hand-knit sweater. Today was the first day we clothed Isaac in them.

As I picked up our tiny tyke he spotted the fan, and of course, lunged toward it.

We added metallic streamers to the grille to make it easier for the parents to tell whether the fan is on or not. In any case, the grille is too tight for baby fingers to intrude.

Once I peeled Isaac away from the fan we put on his hat and idled in the front garden while Rose closed up shop.

Here Isaac is playing with the wind chimes hanging from the tree closest to the house. I'm trying to teach him not to grab the chimes but rather to bat at the striker. It's an on-going process.

We must have been rather pedestrian pedestrians (apologies to the English language) as we didn't take any photos of our walk. In any case, after our walk we returned home to feed Isaac his dinner.

Have you found errors nontrivial or marginal, factual, analytical and illogical, arithmetical, temporal, or even typographical? Please let me know; drop me email. Thanks!
